[VIDEO] Geagea says crisis could escalate

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said Monday that the Cabinet’s statement, which was issued yesterday after Saudi Arabia’s decision to halt grants to the Lebanese army, was “just words.”

“The Cabinet should have addressed the ministers of Hezbollah directly and urge them not to tamper with the fate of the Lebanese people,” he said.

In a press conference, Geagea noted that the government should call upon Hezbollah to withdraw from all the military operations it had launched in the Arab states, or else the crisis would escalate.
