Israeli official: War cabinet meeting expected Sunday evening to discuss agreement on hostages

A senior Israeli official told Agence France-Presse on Sunday that the war cabinet is expected to meet in the evening to discuss an agreement on the release of hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The official, who preferred to remain anonymous, said, "The war cabinet is expected to meet in Jerusalem tonight at 9:00 PM (18:00 GMT) to discuss an agreement on the release of the hostages."
