Palestinian presidency describes Israel's airstrike on refugee center in Rafah as 'heinous massacre'

The Palestinian presidency accused Israel on Monday of deliberately targeting a refugee center in the city of Rafah in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip, with Palestinian officials stating that the bombing resulted in the deaths of at least 35 people.

In a statement, the presidency said, "The perpetration of this heinous massacre by Israeli occupation forces challenges all international legitimacy decisions," accusing Israeli forces of "deliberately targeting... tents of the displaced in Rafah."
