Democratic Gathering is back

MP Marwan Hmede said that the Democratic Gathering was not suspended according to MP Walid Jumblatt directives nor the 4 other MPs, but “we all chose to take a step back to meet after a short period of time”.

Hmede added that all stances especially those of the National Struggle front facilitated this “reconciliation”, pointing out that the meeting will happen at the right time.

Hmede told “Voice of Lebanon” radio that the Syrian issue is not related to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Adnan Mansour or his voting at the Arab League anymore, asking the minister to explain to the Lebanese who sets Lebanon’s foreign policy.
