Aoun: Arab States that boycotted Syria took the path to failure

Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said that in Lebanon, there is a law that prohibits us from funding the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).

Following his bloc’s weekly meeting, Aoun said that the Arab initiative was launched in hopes that Syria would reject it. But Damascus accepted the initiative to avoid falling into the trap.

“No State can carry out reforms if there is no stability”, Aoun said, adding that the Arab States that chose to boycott Syria have taken the path to failure.
