MP Dib: Assir is a "crazy" man who escaped a battle he had planned

Member of Change and Reform bloc, MP Hekmat Dib said on Tuesday that the Imam of Bilal bin Rabbah mosque Sheikh Ahmad Assir "has cowardly escaped a battle he had planned," describing him as "a crazy man" who fomented sectarian strife in Lebanon, mainly in the city of Sidon.

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, MP Dib stressed that the Lebanese Armed Forces have punished "with an iron fist" all those who sow the seeds of sedition, noting that the countless sacrifices made by the LAF will not go in vain.

In this regard, MP Dib pointed out that the LAF managed to put an end to the latest attacks in the country, adding that everyone should draw lessons from recent incidents.
