Sleiman chairs security meeting on Telecom Data role

                   
President Michel Sleiman tackled Thursday at the Baabda Presidential Palace the political and security situation prevailing at present over Lebanon, and the best means to address security-related issues with caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, the state-run National News Agency.                   

President Sleiman also headed a meeting attended by Mikati and caretaker Ministers of National Defense, Fayez Ghosn, Interior and Municipalities, Marwan Charbel, and Telecommunications Nicolas Sehnaoui, as well as by Director General of State Security, Major General George Qoraa, Army Intelligence Chief, Brigadier General Edmond Fadel, Director General of the Internal Security Forces Acting Brigadier General Ibrahim Basbous, head of the ISF Information Branch, Colonel Imad Othman and the president's Military Adviser Brigadier Abdul Muttalib Hennawi.                

The conferees delved into the Telecom Data issue and its role in revealing the latest crimes. They also discussed the necessary measures to help thwart dangers and maintain stability in the country.
