Student shoots colleague at LU campus in Tripoli

A former student of the Lebanese University - Faculty of Science, Tripoli shot another student in the leg inside the university's campus, injuring him slightly.

In details, the shooter used a war weapon which he had kept hidden in his bag.

Security Forces managed to arrest and interrogate the perpetrator, announcing later that he actually suffers from mental illness and has been under treatment for a long period of time.

The Faculty's direction confirmed that the incident is personal and has no other backgrounds whatsoever.
