Seven children injured in Wadi Khaled after hand grenade explodes

Seven children were injured Tuesday after a grenade tossed from the Syrian side exploded as they were playing near Martyr Walid Eido School in the town of Bani Sakher in the border town of Wadi Khaled, northeastern Lebanon.

The children who were identified as both Lebanese and Syrian nationals were rushed to a nearby hospital in Qobeiyat for treatment.

No further details were provided.
