Extreme motor vehicle crash leaves man dead

A motor vehicle crash occurred on Friday in the southern town of Nabatieh leaving Lebanese citizen Ibrahim Abbas (60) who hails from the town of Kfar Remman, severely injured.

The Red Cross rushed to the scene of the accident and transferred the injured to the Al Najda Al Chaabieh Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds soon after.

The security apparatuses arrested the person allegedly responsible for the accident and launched investigations.

Similarly, a Lebanese citizen survived a car accident after her vehicle skidded on the Faraya-Mayrouba highway, landing under the Mayrouba bridge.

Residents rushed to the scene of the accident and worked on rescuing her before the arrival of aid workers and concerned forces.
