REPORT: Al-Arida residents storm General Security station

The National News Agency reported on Sunday that residents of the bordering town of al-Arida stormed the station of Lebanon's General Security after a Syrian man was killed in an bordering attack.

The Agency added that residents broke the windows of the base with rocks.

The man was killed from gunfire coming from the Syrian side when he was attempting to cross the river separating Lebanese-Syrian borders.

Residents also called for the Lebanese army to deploy in the area to protect the border.
