Sleiman: Arab economic unity essential, enables wider unity

President Michel Sleiman met with a delegation from the Arab Banks Union, headed by Joseph Torbey.

Sleiman considered that holding the annual conference in Beirut represents Arab unity on the economic level, adding that “this unity is essential, as it is the starting point of a wider unity on the Arab scene, especially when the economic sector plays a key role in societies nowadays”.
