US impose sanctions on 4 Hezbollah members

The United States blacklisted on Thursday 4 members of the Lebanese group Hezbollah, considered by the US as a terrorist organization, for supporting the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.

The US Treasury Department issued a statement whereby it said that the four members are Khalil Harb, Mohammad Kawtharani, Mohammad Mansour and Mohammad Qabalan, noting that they are accused of supporting Islamist rebels in Iraq and providing financial support for various groups in Yemen and for military leaders responsible for terrorist acts in Egypt, Jordan, Cyprus and Israel.

Accordingly, these sanctions will lead to freezing the assets of these members in the US.
