Geagea: The current Lebanese authorities are lost
The Head of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea said that the Lebanese authorities are practically lost.

“In a country, whose borders are not delineated, whose ruling authorities are a mystery to everyone and whose citizens do not get along, how can we expect to see stability and trust?”, Geagea wondered.

During a meeting with businessmen and economists in Mehrab, Geagea stressed that a strong and capable state can be reached through only one path which is to transfer the power to March 14 parties.

“The LF is not only a political party in the narrow sense of the term; it is also a movement with a project that gained the consent of party members and supporters. To implement its project, the party has to work hard and exert great efforts”, Geagea said.

Geagea underscored the importance of maintaining a strong land which cannot be achieved through a confused authority, adding that without a state the Lebanese cannot hope for much.

“Reforms should start with politics; because when politics are redressed only then can we adjust what is left”, Geagea said.
