Patriarch Rai denounces foreign intervention in Arab world

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai said on Saturday that the situation in Egypt and Syria indicates that foreign powers are implementing a plan to destroy the Arab world.

Patriarch Rai said aims behind the plan are political and economic in order to increase sectarian tension between the Shiite and Sunni sects.
