Security meeting calls for reviving role of security apparatuses in Keserwan

A security meeting was held on Thursday at the Jounieh Serail upon the invitation of Keserwan's mayor Joseph Mansour in the presence of representatives of the security apparatuses.

In this regard, the attendees called for cooperation among the security units in order to maintain security situation in Lebanon.

They have also decided to call on municipalities to implement new measures,such as reviving the role of municipal police and night watchmen as well as installing surveillance cameras.

In this context, the attendees asked the security apparatuses to patrol the Jounieh Serail and to protect public places such as churches, monasteries, mosques and shops.
