EDL says power shortages caused by malfunction in Hazmieh

Electricite Du Liban (EDL) issued a statement on Monday whereby it announced that "on Sunday the 1st of September 2013, a converter stopped working at around 6 am at the main transfer station in Hazmieh, leading to power shortages in regions linked to the said station.

EDL added that the technical employees of the institution are exerting tireless efforts in order to repair the malfunction the soonest possible.
