Geagea: Mikati cabinet will collapse before year end
The head of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea said that 2011 was not a good year for March 14 forces and the Cedars revolution, since Hariri’s cabinet was infamously toppled. “I expect that the same people who overthrew the former government will bring down this one as well”, Geagea said.

During a televised speech delivered during a dinner organized by the Lebanese Forces in Toronto, Geagea stressed that 2011 was the year of the big shake-downs in the Arab region because of the drastic changes sweeping through the Middle East.

“These incidents are historic and stem from the people’s needs, aspirations and hopes”, Geagea said, adding that the people are yearning to enjoy their rights after years of neglect, absence of democracy and deprivation from freedom of thought.
