Soueid to LBCI: Hezbollah is working for the benefit of 'a foreign country'

March 14 General Secretariat Coordinator former MP Fares Soueid said Saturday "US President Barack Obama will not back down from carrying out a strike against Syria since this decision will affect the prestige of his country."

Soueid told LBCI during Nharkom Said that Hezbollah should not interfere in the Syrian war, urging its Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to refrain from dragging Lebanon into a confrontation with the United States as a means of responding to Iran's request.

Former MP Soueid added that "Hezbollah is no longer a political force, but instead a regional force working for the benefit of a foreign country."
