Turkish national, whose car was found in Jounieh's Maameltein, left Beirut

The Directorate General of General Security stressed on Wednesday that the Turkish national identified as Murat Zahdi Oz, whose car was found in the Jounieh neighborhood of Maameltein, left Beirut last week through Beirut international Airport.

In this regard, the directorate issued a statement whereby it noted that the investigations are still ongoing to reveal the reasons leading him to leave the rented car in the said region.

Earlier in the day, the Internal Security Forces Information Bureau found a suspicious car parked in the Jounieh area of Maameltein.

Documents found inside the vehicle showed that the Turkish national had rented the car from May Karavan in Nabatieh, south Lebanon.
