Kataeb Party leader Gemayel calls for protection of Middle Eastern Christians

Kataeb party leader, former President Amine Gemeyal met on Thursday with the Chaldean Patriarch of Babylon, Louis Raphael Sako, at the Patriarchate Seat.

Talks featured high on the situation of Christians in the Middle Eastern region.

The two officials highlighted the importance of preserving the Christian presence in the region.

Gemayel called for saving Christians from "oppression and migration" as a prelude to peace and stability.
