President Sleiman postpones visit to Saudi Arabia

The Media office of president Michel Sleiman issued on Sunday a statement in which it announced that he postponed a scheduled visit to Saudi Arabia this week until further notice.

The statement did not reveal the reasons behind the postponement.

On Saturday, Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Assiri held talks with Sleiman at the Baabda Palace.

President Sleiman was set to meet with Prime Minister Saad Hariri in Riyadh during his trip.
