Sheikh Soleh denies presence of Al-Nusra Front members in Baalbeck

Sheikh Khaled Soleh denied on Wednesday the presence of any members from the al-Qaeda affiliated al-Nusra Front in Baalback, adding that the security incident that erupted on Saturday is considered an attack on the security of the entire region.                           

Sheikh Soleh told LBCI during Nharkom Said that he is ready to cooperate with security apparatuses to turn in all those involved in the incident.         

On Saturday, September 28 the state-run National News Agency reported that a dispute erupted in the Bekaa city of Baalbek between Hezbollah members and others from the Chiyah family, leaving three people killed and several others injured. The NNA later said that the Lebanese Armed Forces deployed in the region and controlled the situation.
