Tension runs high in Baalbek after security forces raid house, seize drugs

Residents of the Baalbek town of Ainata blocked the town’s roads on Monday with burning tires after members of the Anti-Drug Bureau carried out a raid against the house of citizen, identified as T. S. R., and seized large quantities of drugs and banned substances.

The residents also prevented the security forces from pursuing their mission in the town.
