MP Houri: Authorities should disarm all factions in Tripoli

Future Bloc MP Ammar Houri said on Saturday that the Lebanese authorities should disarm all factions in Tripoli in order to control the situation, considering that authorities are only imposing consensual security measures at the northern city.

MP Houri told LBCI during Nharkom Said that the conflict in Tripoli is not new, pointing out that tension rose in the city following the statement made by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad during which he said that Jabal Mohsen is a part of Syria.
