Berri: Israel planting espionage stations along the southern Lebanese border

House Speaker Nabih Berri disclosed on Wednesday that the Israeli army had planted espionage stations along the border in south Lebanon.

Berri explained during the Wednesday periodic meeting that the stations consisted of high-tech equipment linked to Tel Aviv through devices set in Jabal al-Sheikh and the disputed Shebaa farms.

In this regard, Speaker Berri tasked MP Hassan Fadlallah with convening the Parliament's Media and Telecom Committee, in the presence of caretaker Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehanaoui and caretaker Foreign Affairs Minister Adnan Mansour in order to file a complaint before the UN Security Council regarding the mentioned issue.
