Judge Hammoud calls for questioning Refaat Eid

Acting General Prosecutor Judge Samir Hammoud tasked the head of the Criminal Investigation Department on Monday, to question the Arab Democratic Party leader Refaat Eid over his latest statements.

Refaat Eid slammed on Saturday the Internal Security Forces Intelligence Bureau as a “spy agency working against Lebanon's interests,” stressing that the head of the Arab Democratic Party Ali Eid will not go to the ISF's office for interrogation.

“We will only act as per the law,” he said, making a veiled threat that killing ISF members was permissible.
