FPM leader MP Aoun calls on Mikati to leave Grand Serail

"The standoff that took place at the Saint Joseph University is due to a lack of dialogue among the universities' students," Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said on Tuesday.
Following the bloc's weekly meeting, MP Aoun called on caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati to leave the Grand Serail, noting that tensions in Lebanon are due to political vacuum and the officials' failure to assume their responsibilities.

FPM leader MP Aoun also denounced Today's attack on journalists near the Customs headquarters in Downtown Beirut, expressing his hope that the judiciary fulfills its duties and rules in any dispute.

Separately, he congratulated Iran and the United States for reaching an agreement on Iran's nuclear program, hoping it will have a positive impact on Lebanon.
