Kanaan: Absence of MPs from 3 consecutive sessions considered resignation

The head of the Parliament's Finance and Budget committee MP Ibrahim Kanaan said that the member MPs who are not attending the committee meetings are absent by force and by virtue of a decision made by MP Fouad Siniora.

He said that the absence of the MPs from 3 consecutive sessions is considered a resignation.

Following the Finance and Budget committee’s session, Kanaan called for the declassification of the committee’s sessions during his chairmanship and until this day, to uncover whether it is true that he is using the committee’s tribune to mislead public opinion.
