KVA apologizes to citizens over delays in providing services

The KVA Company apologized on Tuesday to citizens over delays in providing services due to the sit-in staged by Electricite Du Liban's daily workers, expressing its keenness on putting an end to their crisis.

The company issued a statement in which it explained that it already signed on April 2, 2012 a contract with EDL relevant to providing services, and agreed to include daily workers within its staff pending an official examination to render the laborers full timers.

According to the statement, when the ministry delayed to carry out the full-timing exam, the laborers became a heavy burden on KVA Company prompting the dismissal of a number of laborers.
