Lebanon-Based al-Nusra Front claims responsibility for Hermel’s explosion

Lebanon-Based al-Nusra Front issued on Thursday a statement in which it claimed responsibility for the suicide bomb attack that targeted the eastern town of Hermel near the main square where the Serail is located.

The statement added that the attack came in retaliation to “Hezbollah’s crimes against Syria’s Sunnite women and children.”

The statement called on Sunnites in Lebanon” to unite in order to address Hezbollah.”

Earlier, a car bombing targeted the eastern town of Hermel, a Hezbollah stronghold, killing at least three people and wounding more than 26.
