The Beirut International Airport security department implemented a series of measures, within the framework of security procedures adopted by the Interior Minister, where all passengers, employees and workers are subject to strict inspection using advanced electronic detectors.
The security measures also include the daily inspection of the vehicles of citizens and employees, with the help of police dogs trained to help detect all suspicious objects.
In this context, a limited number of entrance gates were opened to allow citizens’ access.
