Rai meets Abadi to discuss regional issues

Maronite Patriarch Bshara Rai met on Tuesday morning at Bkerke with Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Ghadanfar Rokn Abadi to discuss the latest issues in Lebanon and the region.

Abadi discussed the Christian-Muslim meeting which will be held on the 17th of January 2012, attended by delegations from several Middle Eastern and North African countries.

Abadi commented on Syria’s signature on the Arab League Protocol saying “This is a good step in solving the crisis as it should be resolved from the inside without any external intervention”.
