Berri: Appointments on the right track

Speaker Nabih Berri chaired a parliamentary meeting on Wednesday to discuss the issues of appointments and wages.

Visitors quoted Berri as saying that the appointments are moving in the right direction, adding that the cabinet’s mechanisms will soon be adopted. Berri reiterated his call to engage in a dialogue headed by President Michel Sleiman, adding that through dialogue all issues of concern to the country and its citizens.

Berri stressed that Syria’s signature of the Arab protocol is a positive step and is part of a regional solution.
