Mufti Qabbani lauds LAF efforts in imposing security

The Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani praised the efforts deployed by the Lebanese Armed Forces to reveal the assailants who are trying to create strife in Lebanon and kill innocents.

“The suspects must be arrested, interrogated and referred to the concerned judiciary, in order for the people to feel safe and secure,” Qabbani said.

On Wednesday, the LAF command said it arrested an al-Qaeda-linked militant identified as Naim Abbas and seized two booby-trapped cars in Beirut and the Bekaa.
