PM Salam receives well-wishers at his residence in Msaytbeh

Prime Minister Tammam Salam received on Sunday at his residence in Msaytbeh various Lebanese officials and politicians, along with Lebanese families and friends who congratulated him on the formation of the cabinet.

Among the figures were the papal ambassador to Lebanon Gabriel Katchea, and Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouq.

Meanwhile, Economy and Trade Minister Alain Hakim said the Kataeb party represents the Lebanese Forces.

Lebanon announced on February 15 the formation of a new government after more than 10 months of political deadlock.

Following the announcement of the new cabinet, Prime Minister Tammam Salam stressed the importance of creating a positive atmosphere to resume national dialogue in order to resolve all pending issues under the auspices of President Michel Sleiman.
