Jabhat al-Nusra in Lebanon claims responsibility for rockets launched on Bekaa villages

Jabhat al-Nusra in Lebanon claimed responsibility via Twitter for 5 Grad rockets launched from the Syrian side on the villages of Britel and Nabi Sheet in Bekaa.

This as five rockets hit on Wednesday the Lebanese villages of Britel, Hourtaala and Ham in the Bekaa valley.

Similarly, 4 other rockets landed on the outskirts of the northeastern town of Arsal.

Shelling, mainly from the Syrian side, has also damaged other Lebanese border towns which have bore the brunt of the cross-border attacks.

This comes as a result of the fighting taking place in Syria between Syrian government troops and rebels seeking to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.
