Geagea urges officials to take decisive and firm position regarding abduction tragedies

The head of the Lebanese Forces party Samir Geagea called Sunday on the political authority to take a decisive and firm position regarding the kidnap phenomenon witnessed in Lebanon over the past three years.

“The measures must not end when the abductee is released, but the kidnappers must be pursued and arrested,” he said.

In a statement to “Radio Free Lebanon”, Geagea called on the concerned parties to find a clear political will on the governmental level, and to give the right orders to the Lebanese army and the security apparatuses in order to arrest the kidnappers.
