Future Bloc says policy statement must not disregard Baabda Declaration

The Future Bloc stated on Thursday that cabinet policy statement should comply with the Baabda Declaration.

Following its weekly meeting, the Future Bloc said the statement must not disregard the Baabda declaration, and mentioned that it must not ignore the importance of resisting Israel; however, this should take place under the authority of the state that represents all of the Lebanese people.

The bloc also stated that the one-month deadline designated by the constitution for the government to complete its statement should be used to persuade the parties to fulfill this mission, not topple the cabinet.
