MP Khaled al-Daher: Tripoli’s 'Shabbiha' receive support from Intelligence officers

MP Khaled al-Daher said Thursday that there are several wrong practices in the implementation of security measures, adding that the “Shabbiha” in Tripoli are receiving support from some of Intelligence officers.

During the parliamentary session, al-Daher denounced the Syrian shelling targeting the region of Wadi Khaled, calling on the state to extend its authorities across all the Lebanese regions.

“The resistance is the right of all the Lebanese. But all arms should be put under the authority of the state,” he added, stating that he will grant the cabinet a vote of confidence.
