Ambassador Hale says US support for Lebanon long standing

US Ambassador to Lebanon David Hale praised on Wednesday the efforts exerted by Lebanese Armed Forces, and the latest achievements made by soldiers, pointing out that attacks that targeted Lebanon reaffirm the importance of the military institutions in upholding order and stability in Lebanon.

Ambassador Hale noted that the events of recent weeks are a stark reminder of the tough battle that Lebanon is fighting as it confronts terrorism, extremism, and unrest, stressing that the United States is proud to stand with Lebanon in this fight.

Hale also mentioned that the US’ support for the Lebanese Army and Internal Security Forces is long standing.
