Maj. Gen. Ibrahim says explosions in Lebanon decreased by 90%
General Security Chief Major General Abbas Ibrahim stated on Saturday that the explosions in Lebanon decreased by 90% after closing the illegal borders between Lebanon and Syria.

Major General Ibrahim told Reuters that Lebanese security apparatuses were carrying out their duties before the closure of the borders, adding that they arrested various persons and seized a number of booby-trapped cars.

On another note, Ibrahim mentioned that the Lebanese government is a national unity cabinet seemingly since it is working for the benefit of all Lebanese factions, pointing out that a unity cabinet encourages security apparatuses to perform their duties to the fullest.

Regarding the security plan in the northern city of Tripoli, Ibrahim mentioned that the plan has not been fully implemented yet in order to arrest all the fugitives, emphasizing that security apparatuses will soon implement a plan at the Palestinian refugee camps.
