Lebanese army arrests five individuals for attacks against LAF
The Lebanese army announced on Tuesday that it arrested four Lebanese citizens and a Syrian national in Beirut's southern suburbs of Dahieh on charges of attacking the LAF, possession of arms and inciting violence

It said that it arrested Ali Jamaleddine, Hassan Rafiq al-Meqdad, Abbas Nasseredine, and Maher Issam al-Ali for opening fire on various occasions.

They were also charged with attacking the Lebanese army.

The army also arrested a Syrian national for opening fire at dawn on Tuesday in the Bir Hassan region of Dahieh.

Investigations were launched with all of the suspects.

On Saturday, an individual dispute between the Meqdad and the Nasseredine families turned into an armed clash in Dahieh, leaving several people injured and causing material damage.

However, a reconciliation between the two families was reached on Sunday following mediation efforts by the AMAL Movement and Hezbollah.
