Labor Minister Azzi says workers' rights are undeniable

Labor Minister Sajaan Azzi stressed on Thursday that his ministry is currently facing a main challenge, mainly the enactment of a new, modern and humane labor law.

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, Azzi said the ministry had received several complaints from employees who were sacked and replaced by foreign workers.

"The workers' right to improve their living conditions in terms of salaries and compensations is undeniable," he said, adding that the solution lies in fighting corruption within the state.
