LF leader Geagea to tour Arab and European countries-sources

Lebanese Forces leader and presidential candidate Samir Geagea traveled on Friday on a work trip, the party said in a press release.

Geagea's destination wasn't revealed, however sources close to LF told LBCI that he is on an Arab and European tour.

The sources added that the said tour was planned almost a week ago and includes France and Saudi Arabia.

On Thursday, Geagea held the March 8 Christians responsible for the hindrance in electing a new president after Thursday's parliamentary session had the same fate of its predecessors.

The first presidential election session was held on April 23, but neither Geagea nor Democratic Gathering candidate MP Henri Helou garnered the necessary 86 votes to be Lebanon's new president.

Three other sessions were supposed to be held, but they failed over lack of quorum after a March 8 camp boycott on the ongoing disagreement over a candidate.
