Tricom contract workers stage sit-in, threaten to escalate

Tricom contract workers staged on Monday morning a sit-in outside the Electricite du Liban building to protest against delays in salary payments.

The protesters threatened that they may end their peaceful movements and resort to escalatory measures in case their demands are not met.

The Tricom contract workers have been on strike for over a week, calling on the administration to grant them advance payments.
