MP Strida Geagea: Aoun refuted notion of equality with power trinity

MP Strida Geagea stressed Thursday that the head of Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun refuted the notion of equality when he said that “Former PM Saad Hariri, Hezbollah’s Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah and himself form the main pillars of Lebanon's trinity.”

MP Geagea said Aoun does not represent all the Christians, just as Nasrallah does not represent all the Shiites.

“Where are the other sects in this trinity, like the Druze community?” she asked.

In this regard, she added that the parties that boycotted the parliamentary session for the fifth time, do not seek to elect a president, but to appoint one of their choice.
