Detainee wounded in failed escape attempt in Dahr al-Baydar

A detainee was injured on Sunday as he tried to escape from the Dahr al-Baydar police station, the state-run National News Agency reported.

Mustafa A.M., who threw himself out of the first floor window of the station, sustained bruises and broken bones as a result.

He was then transported to the Riyaq Hospital for treatment, the agency said.

Mustafa was arrested earlier by the Internal Security Forces in the Dahr al-Baydar region for having five grams of heroin in his possession.
