Jabhat al-Nusra gunmen kill Syrian child in Arsal

Jabhat al-Nusra gunmen killed on Thursday a Syrian child in the Bekaa town of Arsal, the state-run National News Agency reported.

14-year-old Mustafa Nouh, who reportedly insulted the gunmen, was killed with two shots to the head, according to security sources.

The border town of Arsal has been grappling with a series of bomb attacks, shelling from the Syrian side and ongoing attempts by Syrians to infiltrate into Lebanon.

It is also host to thousands of Syrian refugees who have set up tented settlements on the outskirts of the town.

This comes as a result of the fighting taking place in Syria between Syrian government troops and rebels seeking to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad.
