Civil Defense members put out Akkar wildfire

Civil Defense members have managed to put out the blaze that erupted on the outskirts of the Mashha town in Akkar, the General Directorate of the Civil Defense said on Sunday.

“Civil Defense members prevented the wildfire from reaching the Shaaban gas firm, in cooperation with the municipality of Mashha,” the Directorate said.

The cooling process is underway, the Directorate said, adding that the fire was totally controlled.
